About – Academy of Creators

I’ve spent my life immersed in art: over a decade of training before college, a minor in art from Utah State University, professional work in graphic and product design, and proximity to fine artists in Utah and abroad.

But my greatest joy is teaching.

With over a decade of experience guiding children (in classrooms, homeschool groups, and church programs), I’m passionate about helping both kids and adults experience the deep fulfillment that comes from creating something of their own.

At the Academy of Creators, we welcome all people who want to create, especially those who may not have access to the tools and skills to create.

Here we welcome mistakes.

We welcome trying something new.

We welcome spending time working at something that doesn’t come naturally or easy to you.

We welcome your curiosity in learning what tools are and how they can be used.

And we TOO are here creating for the beauty of the process, not necessarily the beauty of the outcome.

So come learn! Come make mistakes! Come try something new! And nurture that creator inside of you!
